Yay! Finally, I have found the time to add a few recent client sites to my portfolio. I know, “about time” I hear you say! Must be late December 2011 since I last updated it?
To be quite honest, the last 4 months have been extremely busy, with a barrage of new clients and agency work, and a huge influx of repeat business from a handful of existing clients. Being a freelance web designer, this is great news on the pocket! It does, however, mean my personal projects (and my portfolio site) have had to take a backseat for a while, whilst I play catch up. continue reading
You know the old saying, “you wait ages for a bus, then along come two”? Well that’s what has happened to me these last few weeks. Not buses, rather clients! Now I am not complaining! It is great to be busy, it just means I haven’t had time to even look at my site, let alone think about updating it lol.

Well, it’s almost that time of the year again folks! Like it or loathe it, bonfire night is almost upon us and, as usual for mid October, the streets of Lewes are awash with bonfire boyes and belles selling programmes, collecting donations and generally getting excited!
November the 5th sees the usually peaceful streets of East Sussex’s county town of Lewes ablaze with the thousands of flaming torches, burning tar barrels and firework-fuelled effigies from the Lewes and Sussex bonfire societies as they take over the town for the night!
Unlike your average, local bonfire celebration, Lewes bonfire night is the biggest attraction of the season and for many Lewisians, a way of life! Many of the societies members will have spent all year planning and making brightly coloured costumes for this annual event. continue reading

RootHost are proud to announce their latest web design client, Ringmer based graphic designer, Corina and Co who specialises in pop-up books and paper engineering. Corina has almost 20 years of experience in paper engineering, and during that time has worked with some of the most well known names in children’s books, including Lauren Child, Nick Sharratt and Neal Layton
I met Corina a few weeks ago to discuss this project and was immediately excited about the prospect of working with her on this design. It made a refreshing change to meet somebody who has a clear vision of how they wish the site the look, and an understanding of the industry. continue reading
