SEO Process: Client Consultation

Before I begin any SEO work I first discuss the project with the client so I have a total understanding of their business and website goals, and that the client is fully aware of all the stages and what to expect in return for their money. During this process all questions and queries will be answered before work begins.

SEO Process: Keywords and Competition

Choosing the right keywords is all about versatility. Go for the keywords I have a good chance of ranking high for and not the ones which will take lots of time and money!

I'll identify all the keywords your business could gain valuable web traffic from, then see how competitive they are by looking at the top 10 sites that appear in Google for these chosen keywords.

I now filter out all the keywords that everyone else is using and concentrate on getting you to the top of the ones which are more achievable. Little steps first.... I'll get the big, just not yet!

SEO Process: On-page Optimisation

I'll look at all the important parts of your website like the page titles, description, headers, meta tags and even the code. This part can boost your position immediately!

Google and all the other search engines pay special attention to certain parts of the code in your website and I will need to make sure these areas are standards compliant and contain all your nice keywords so Google knows what your pages are all about.

It may be necessary to change the structure of your website or even add new pages if I think it will help and, of course, I can take care of all that for you too.

SEO Process: Link Building

Google likes links, but not just any old link. Link building is all about getting the right types of links and in the right quantities.

Ok, we all know that link building is a major part of SEO. Put simply, if you want to get ranked well you need to have links pointing to you website. The majority of your SEO money is going to go on stage 4 and I'll be gaining links for you to slowly increase your sites popularity and pagerank.

This process can take 6 weeks to 3 months for most keywords but some can take longer depending on how popular they are and how competitive they are.

SEO Process: Monitoring and Maintenance

Once you are where you want to be, or I can't do anymore, I'll stop! I can then monitor your rankings and if it starts to slip I can just start again!

Many SEO companies use scare tactics to get people into thinking if they stop an SEO program they will lose their rankings and traffic. While this can be true for some of the big keywords out there it simply isn't for most!

If you are happy with the positions I have gained for you I can either move onto some more keywords and get you more traffic or simply stop and monitor the rankings. No ties, no contracts - no pressure!

SEO Prices

My SEO prices vary depending on what work is required. Some clients need the whole 4 stage package, whilst others may just need the link building stage. Because I don't know what's needed until I look at your keywords, website and your competition it can be very difficult to give prices.

I don't do package prices but on average my clients pay around £250 per month.
